Could Glittermitten Grove Be Frog Fractions 2? (It Is)

The first Frog Fractions is a freakish meta-joke that constantly disorients the player and sidesteps expectations.
Glittermitten Grove, released on Steam mid-December, actually contains Frog Fractions 2, as I discovered while poking around in the Frog Fractions 2 Discord today. This is Frog Fractions 2. After the game was successful on Kickstarter in 2015, Crawford and his cohorts hid clues to the game's location all over the Internet and in the real world: among other things, ARG players found hints in an Obama beard-shaving simulator, floppy discs full of "bug porn" (don't worry, link is SFW) and in episodes of Crawford's freakish podcast called Hot Dog Train. If you're behind on the Frog Fractions saga, you can access the original game via the Twinbeard website.
A crew of self-described game detectives finally tracked the mysterious title called Frog Fractions 2 embedded in a new game released at Steam this December.
If you weren't following the madness around Frog Fractions 2, what you basically need to know is that finding the sequel turned into an enormous alternate reality game (ARG) that spanned over two years.
It's now been confirmed that Glittermitten Grove is Frog Fractions 2. An odd non-descript explanation for a game supposedly published by Adult Swim Games, a backer of prominent Indie developers.
Early December, Randomiser, a member of the Game Detectives, cracked a puzzle in Unboxing Story, a game uploaded to a site associated with the Frog Fractions 2 ARG.
The game sleuths have been quite persistent to the point that their zeal spawned a meme wherein every unknown title that surfaces at Steam got asked whether it is Frog Fractions 2. On December 12th, Game Detectives user Pumodi found the key after completing a real-life "Room Escape" game in Portland, OR. We'll see soon if the game was worth the wait.
