Several owners of the holiday season's hottest toy are posting videos they claim prove their Hatchimals are uttering "f*** me" instead of "hug me".

Earlier this week, parents reported that the toys were not hatching out of their plastic egg like they are supposed to.

While some commenters believe the Hatchimals are actually murmuring "hug me" or "hold me", parent company Spin Master states the electronic creatures aren't saying either. Recently, parents also complained that the popular toy would not hatch.

"A mother and father in B.C. claim their child's new Hatchimal toy is spouting swear words, amid an otherwise unintelligible stream of gibberish", according to a CTVNews report.

In videos posted on YouTube, the bird-like toys appear to say "f- me" as they sleep. It noted Hatchimals make unidentifiable noises while sleeping. We're not talking about the Hatchimals that won't hatch.

Spin Master has denied that the toy curses, and told CNN that Hatchimals "do not curse, nor do they use foul language". Spin Master said it aims to answer all customer emails within 72 hours; if it can't find a solution through troubleshooting, the company will send a replacement Hatchimal within 2 days.
