According to a Reddit thread started by a user named chedderb0b, Bell has started rolling out the Nougat update to its Galaxy Note 5 users, and judging by another comment left on the thread, SaskTel Galaxy Note 5 users might also be receiving the update. Just like with previous major updates, it takes time for them to actually arrive since they have to deal with various levels of approval, from Google itself to the device manufacturer to the carrier.

In case you have already got the Nougat software on your Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus devices, do share your experience with other users in the comments section below. Features like the notification and multitasking will also be upgraded this time around. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on AT&T and Verizon is one such example, but it certainly looks as though all of the agonized waiting is about to come to an end. Sprint has yet to update their official page just yet, but this does not mean that Nougat goodness is not forthcoming for both devices.

Most Galaxy Note 5 users in the U.S. have already received the Android 7.0 Nougat update: Sprint was the first, and Verizon and AT&T promptly followed suit. The OS weighs about 1GB and like the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+, it is coming over the air.

If you are on Sprint's HTC One M9, there's also some good news for you as the carrier is rolling out the latest Android 7.0 Nougat to the 2015 flagship. However, some Galaxy S6 users have chimed in the thread to vent their jealousy as they have yet to see the update on their device.

AT&T's changelog for the Galaxy S6 edge+ has been updated with build number NRD90M at 1.51GB.

The Android Nougat OS Update for the Sprint HTC One M9 comes with the version number 4.27.651.4.
