A Facebook post has emerged in which a user created the "Garden Spicer", a parody of the startling event which took place at the White House earlier this week with Press Secretary Sean Spicer. The Trump surrogate reportedly took refuge in bushes following an interview on Fox Business after the James Comedy firing. He then disappeared inside, enveloped by the warmly lit White House.

Comey was nominated to the position with a 10-year term by former President Barack Obama in 2013.

"Most presidents after Nixon were skittish to do much taping", said presidential historian Douglas Brinkley.

This is an important exchange.@jeffmason1 pushes again and again on Trump's "tapes" tweet. The source said it was unlikely that the Trump administration has changed this, but verbatim records of some private presidential meetings and phone conversations are nonetheless kept in two ways.

Why wasn't Comey given the news in a personal phone call?

When's the last time Trump and Comey spoke?

"He was a candidate, not the president", she said. "However, because of the many false statements made by White House officials this week, we are compelled to ask whether any such recordings do in fact exist".

The daughter of Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate, Sanders on Thursday touched on topics such as whether Comey's forced departure had anything to do with the FBI's investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with Russian Federation during the 2016 election; Comey's reputation within the FBI; Trump's reasons for firing him; and why the photographer for Russia's US ambassador and foreign minister was allowed into the Oval Office on Wednesday during a meeting and American news photographers were not.

Insisting to the news media that President Trump's travel ban on people from seven countries was not a "ban", even though President Trump used that exact word to describe it. "Do you have any good questions to ask him?"

That's why Trump's tweet gave pundits and historians fresh ammunition to continue drawing comparisons between Trump and Nixon as they have in the days since Trump fired Comey, who as head of the FBI oversaw the investigation into potential coordination between Trump campaign associates and Russian Federation during the 2016 election.

"By the way, you don't mind that I'm taping this conversation?" "And so we are all on this, because I'm taping it also".

"We have a diversity of opinions about many things, but I can confidently tell you that the majority - the vast majority of Federal Bureau of Investigation employees enjoyed a deep and positive connection to Director Comey", McCabe told the Senate Intelligence Committee. This resulted in a hilarious picture that was sadly not captured thanks to Spicer's demands: reporters huddled in the bushes, asking questions to the Press Secretary in the dim evening light.

Diamondbacks place Chris Iannetta on seven-day concussion disabled list
Iannetta was able to get to his feet and walk to the dugout, but after the game went to a local hospital to be further examined. Lovullo also said even with a broken nose and fractured teeth, Iannetta is "remarkably upbeat", which is remarkable.

Showcase - Hull's last games like 'Champions League finals'
As Swansea manager Paul Clement pointed out this week, it seems perverse for a side to celebrate narrowly avoiding relegation. The mutinous mood grew stronger once an increasingly fluent six-man passing move concluded with Swansea doubling their lead.

Venezuela's 'Grandparents' March' Is Met With Riot Cops
The report was the first release of Health Ministry figures in almost two years, part of a wider government data blackout. The collapse in prices for Venezuela's crucial oil exports has left it short of cash to import medicine and basic goods.
