  • New dramas join Wednesday and Thursday as few changes come to the most-watched network

Armitige, who previously starred in Big Little Lies, revealed what it's like to work with Parsons, saying: "We sort of buddied together and sometimes it would range from stuff like, 'Say this line a little differently because Sheldon would think of it differently.' 'Don't smile, '" the child actor revealed.

The Big Bang Theory was recently renewed through season 12, but one CBS executive says he wants the show to go on even longer. Moonves said he hoped there will be more after that.

CBS Chairman Leslie Moonves told reporters at the news conference that he isn't ruling out bringing back "The Big Bang Theory" for future seasons beyond the current deal signed earlier this year.

Already, viewers can see the resemblance between the younger version of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. After football, both series will air on Thursdays. "Bones" favorite Boreanaz stars.

On the drama front, CBS has handed action drama SEAL Team a Wednesday evening berth, while elite police team series S.W.A.T. takes a Thursday 10pm slot. — and supporting players: Cedric the Entertainer and Taylor Mosby ("Criminal Minds").

SUNDAY: 7, 60 Minutes; 8, Wisdom of the Crowd; 9, NCIS: Los Angeles; 10, Madam Secretary. 9JKL stars Mark Feuerstein as Josh Roberts, Linda Lavin as Judy, Elliott Gould as Harry, David Walton as Andrew, Liza Lapira as Eve and Matt Murray as Nick. He plays a newly-divorced actor, Josh Roberts, who lives in a NY apartment.

During CBS' 2017 upfronts presentation, the network said the series has a Doogie Howser vibe.

- "Me, Myself & I" is about the defining moments in a man's life as a 14-year-old in 1991, at age 40 in present day and at age 65 in 2042. Bobby Moynihan ("Saturday Night Live") and Emmy victor Larroquette play the character in the later stages.

The midseason slate includes "Instinct", with Alan Cumming as a former Central Intelligence Agency operative who's pulled back into his old line of work, and the comedy "By the Book", about a man (Jay R. Ferguson) who challenges himself to live strictly in accordance with the Bible.

Returning shows being held for midseason include "The Amazing Race", "Code Black", "Elementary", "Man with a Plan" and "Undercover Boss". "It feels awfully good", he said.
