Microsoft announces huge updates, new products and more

It's similar to the little-known Journal feature in Microsoft Outlook that tracks your use of Office files, except Timeline extends across Windows and will work with third-party apps.
The updates due in September will see the introduction of several new features including a new design language, a unified and responsive experience for users, new applications, and letting users work quickly and seamlessly from any device, whether Windows, iOS and Android.
Microsoft revealed Apple'siTunes and the Apple Music streaming service will be arriving on the Windows Store later this year. iTunes, is already available on the Windows platform, but the arrival of a Windows Store app is a big deal. This particular iteration of the iTunes app will also pack full iPhone support and provide users with much the same experience that the current Windows app present on the Windows Store provides.
This is huge because, as we mentioned last week, their new 10 S operating system only gives users access to apps in the Windows Store.

Enhancements to the widely used operating system to roll out later this year are created to make applications built on Microsoft technology work more harmoniously across an array of internet-linked devices, according to demonstrations given at the company's Build developers conference in Seattle.
An update of Microsoft'sWindows 10 software will include features for playing games and watching video in the realm of "mixed reality". Files On-Demand Microsoft has also announced several other major features that are coming to Windows.
Today's new Windows 10 Build 16193 changes the Task Manager column name from "Background Moderated" to "Power Throttling". That development will be particularly helpful for students using a streamlined version of Windows designed for classrooms. This would allow you to restore the sessions and apps on multiple devices.
Microsoft will try to make Windows 10 more versatile with new features for creating memories, exploring virtual scenery and "hopscotching" from personal computers to mobile devices. Files stored in OneDrive will also be listed on all your logged in PCs, even if they're not synced locally.
