Kyrie Irving didn't need much time to answer the question. And while many National Basketball Association spectators thought it was too much, it did give high hopes for Cavs fans who fell to a dead silence in the last final minutes of Wednesday night's game. Will the fans go quiet in Quicken Loans Arena? They will do everything they did in Game 3 that made it close, and probably do it with more desperation. "Tomorrow's another important opportunity ... to continue the series", said LeBron James, averaging a Finals triple-double but admitting after Game 3 that he felt "drained" in the exasperating round.

The rest of the crew? Catch and shoot. Make one more hero shot. "It did take a little bit of time, but for the most part their talents fit together pretty naturally".

"Even when you're playing well, you got to play A-plus-plus, because they're going to make runs and they're going to make shots and they got guys that's going to make plays". James and Kyrie Irving fought for loose balls.

No one did that. But while James pushed the Warriors, his team struggled without him. His 13 rebounds helped but only amounted to offsetting another Tristan Thompson dud (three rebounds in 23 minutes, no points). But, a couple of minutes later, Durant came up the court with his team down two and LeBron backed off just enough, gave Durant just enough space to make a three-pointer that looked as effortless as a layup. Force them into outside shots, if you can.

Thompson is 4-for-11 shooting with 11 rebounds for the series. James, again at or near his peak, scored 39 points, pulled down 11 boards and dished out nine assists.

In truth, J.R. Smith (16 points, 5-for-10 on 3s) and Kyle Korver (8 points) hit a few big shots, but by and large, the supporting cast was a disappointment in Game 3 when the Cavaliers needed big performances.

"We're better from our experiences", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said.

"Not something I'm thinking about or any of us are thinking about".

Durant scored a team-high 31 points for the Warriors, and his pull-up three-pointer over King James with 45 seconds remaining gave the Warriors their first lead since late in the third quarter and silenced what had been a raucous crowd.

"My mindset is to try to get every game". They made 12 of 44 3-pointers (27 percent).

LeBron refused to buy into the notion that he was worn out even though Kerr told he players to keep attacking because eventually James and Irving would tire.

Irving didn't let that happen in Game 3. At least then they had some form of momentum going forward, despite being down in the series.

Not even the heroics of James and Irving could prevent that.
